    JSW Energy up 4%: Unit VIII of Barmer project commissioned

    JSW Energy gained nearly 4 percent intraday on Friday after the company said its unit VIII of 135MW of the 8X135MW power project at Barmer (Rajasthan) successfully commissioned from February 28, 2013.

    JSW Energy gained nearly 4 percent intraday on Friday after the company said its unit VIII of 135MW of the 8X135MW power project at Barmer (Rajasthan) successfully commissioned from February 28, 2013.

    With the above unit getting commissioned, six units out of 8 units (of 135MW each) power project achieved commercial operation date (COD).

    At 15:13 hours IST, shares went up 1.28 percent to Rs 55.20 on Bombay Stock Exchange.

    In the previous trading session, however, the stock plunged 6.76 percent to Rs 54.50.
