International Paper open offer for AP Paper to open May 26

US paper and packaging company International Paper Co's open offer for an additional 21.5% in Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills will begin on May 26 and close on June 14, according to a public announcement.

On March 29, International Paper had said it intends to buy a majority stake in Andhra Pradesh Paper Mills for about USD 257 million in cash to gain a foothold in the growing Asian market.
