Sudarshan Sukhani of s2analytics.com told CNBC-TV18, "ICICI Bank should be an outperformer in the near future and in the long run. I can’t say independently today whether that is the stock that will drive the Nifty Bank but if you don’t have an investment in ICICI Bank this is a very good time to invest in it."
"I am trading primarily midcap stocks, but there is a theme and that theme today is that auto stocks and auto ancillaries suggest that new upswing is coming in that broad sector. So, that is a focus for the day. I am upbeat on the Nifty not necessarily today, I don’t know what will happen today but I am a willing buyer."
"Bharat Forge is a buying opportunity. This stock made new highs and that new highs have come after a nice two week decline, so we are really going after a small decline is already behind us," he said.
"Motherson Sumi Systems is another buying opportunity, the stock is just on the verge of breaking from a two week consolidation, so we are buying in anticipation of a breakout."
"MRF has an excellent chart, a very big mini-bear market in MRF is coming to an end and a bullish pattern is now under development and on the verge we had a very good day on Friday. I think this is a positional buy not just a day trade or a swing trade. MRF is a buying opportunity. Perhaps other tyre companies will follow it, but today it is MRF."
"Maruti Suzuki hit lifetime new highs of Friday. The new highs did not sustain and the stock did dip intraday, but that is immaterial. We are not doing intraday trading here in Maruti anyway. It is a buying opportunity."
