Amit Gupta of ICICIdirect told CNBC-TV18, "We have recommended the Call options in Dabur India and Motherson Sumi Systems to our clients because this a long series; on November 30 we have the expiry, this is just the starting of November series and that is why I don’t think the premiums of the Call options are going to come down very soon."
"In Dabur India, the short covering trend was there in the last two or three series. We have seen almost 45 percent cut in the short positions when it recovered above Rs 310 levels. Now, in this particular series, almost 15 percent of addition has been seen on the long side. Yesterday the results were also pretty good. I think the stock has given 7 percent volume growth."
"In a good case, we had seen 8 percent of growth in the volumes, so, I think it justifies the case of this 15 percent addition which has come in the futures on the long side and that is where the momentum in the stock can come in now. 330 Call was the highest, it has closed above this, so whosoever was selling, that 330 Call, they will be forced to close the positions and you will see more spurt in the Call premiums in Dabur. So we are recommending 330 Call in it," he said.
"We are recommending Motherson Sumi Systems at-the-money (ATM) Call option of 370 because there also short covering trend is very much seen. If you look at the auto ancillary space, a very slow move in Motherson Sumi from Rs 345 to Rs 360 was seen and the delivery pickup was almost 30 percent higher than the last couple of weeks."
"It gives us the confidence that before the results, this stock is possibly moving up and buying Call option may be a good trade to look at," he added.
