Associated Rubber Industries has informed BSE that the Company received a letter dated September 23, 2013 from Mr. Arvind Bhandari ("Promoter"), expressing his intention to voluntarily delist the Company’s Equity Shares from the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE) by acquiring the Equity Shares held by the Public shareholders of the Company duly complying with Securities and Exchange Board of India (Delisting of Equity Shares) Regulations, 2009 ('Delisting Regulations’) and other applicable provisions of Law.The Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on September 27, 2013 considered the said letter from Mr. Arvind Bhandari ("Promoter") being major shareholder of the Company. The Board has approved the proposed voluntary delisting of equity shares of the Company from BSE, offered by the Promoter and also decided that the said voluntary delisting proposal be communicated and recommended for approval by the members of the Company through Postal Ballot process as required by the Delisting Regulation. Further the Board of Directors of the Company has approved the draft of the Postal Ballot Notice.Source : BSE
