Brahmaputra Infraproject: Updates on scheme of amalgamation

Brahmaputra Infraproject Ltd has informed BSE that the Scheme of Amalgamation of Brahmaputra Infraproject Ltd. (the Transferor Company) with Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd. (the Transferee Company), as approved by the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi vide its order dated January 04, 2013, has become effective from March 11, 2013; being the date of filing of the formal order of the Hon'ble High Court with the Registrar of Companies.In terms of the provisions of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, the SEBI Regulations and Circulars, Listing Agreement and other applicable provisions, post merger equity share capital of the Transferee Company - Brahmaputra Infrastructure Ltd. will be listed on the Bombay & Delhi Stock Exchange (where the shares of the Transferor Company were listed). The Company will file necessary application with the stock exchanges and other competent authorities in due course.Source : BSE
