BJP also promised to establish a Rs 2,000 crore corpus fund to promote tourism in the state.

The BJP on November 15 released the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan.

“The manifesto or vision document for the other parties is just a formality, but for BJP it is a road map for development,” said party national chief JP Nadda after releasing the party manifesto at an event in Jaipur. The manifesto, based on the suggestions of more than one crore people, promised a slew of welfare measures for farmers, women, and students.

Highlighting the state’s paper leak scams, he said a Special Investigation Team will be formed to probe the scams. Addressing reporters, Nadda said, "The Congress party became known for five things in five years. These are corruption, the disrespect of women, and neglected farmers. This is the state where the rate of electricity is highest and petrol and diesel have the highest VAT. The number of paper leaks that happened here has broken records."

BJP promised to purchase wheat from farmers at an MSP of Rs 2,700 per quintal, which is significantly higher than the current MSP of Rs 2015 per quintal. The party also promised Rs 450 subsidy on LPG cylinders for Ujjawala beneficiaries.

Pledging a slew of schemes for girls and women, he said a 'mahila thana' will be set up in every district and 'mahila desk' in every police station besides an anti-romeo squad in every city. He also announced a savings bond of Rs 2 lakh on the birth of a girl child and compensation policy for farmers whose land was auctioned.

Nadda criticised the Congress regime for running bulldozers on some people’s houses. He said, “This happens only under Congress rule.” The BJP also unveiled a Free Scooty Scheme for meritorious students pursuing higher education.

It also promised to establish a Rs 2,000 crore corpus fund to promote tourism, aiming to generate employment opportunities for 5 lakh youth in the state. Nadda said if elected, the party will provide 2,50,00 government jobs. He said that 15,000 doctors and 20,000 paramedics will also be appointed.

The 200-member Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will undergo polls in a single phase on November 25 and the votes will be counted on December 3.
