Amaal Mallik's time on Bigg Boss 19 is still making headlines, but his father, Daboo Mallik, has spoken out this time.
The seasoned music composer revealed that the personal assaults and criticism he has gotten due to his son's actions on the reality show have had a profound impact on him.
In an interview with Screen, Daboo disclosed that after his poignant appearance on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, when both father and son started crying, there has been a significant response.
"The outburst of negativity is what hurts the most. I never thought we were stars. We're just regular musicians," he remarked.
“However, the recent explosion demonstrates that Bigg Boss's power is excessive, since numerous events have occurred. The language that individuals are employing is unlike anything I have ever encountered. I can't hear such slurs at this age,” he added.
Daboo explained how Amaal's parenting has been questioned in addition to his behaviour. “Because of my upbringing, I have been singled out. As a father, I'm being questioned, I'm hearing false information, and I'm listening to everything. You can't stop anyone," he declared.

Although he was originally thrilled to see Amaal on the show, the composer acknowledged that things didn't go as planned. "I was taken aback when I watched the first few episodes because the plot was taking a different turn. I was thrilled that Amaal would become well-known and perform songs. However, I believe that a psychological bubble forms around you at home, you start acting in a certain way, and perhaps you lose control," he stated.
Amaal has garnered interest both within and outside the Bigg Boss house, making him one of the most talked-about candidates this season.
Salman Khan, the host, has also been accused of bias for failing to address Amaal's recent altercation with fellow competitor Abhishek Bajaj.
