The 2005 comedy-drama No Entry, starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Fardeen Khan, and Bipasha Basu starrer is about to complete two decades since its release, and with the sequel now in the making, fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
Salman Khan has hinted at his potential comeback on several occasions over the years, teasing the sequel. It now appears, though, that the superstar will not be playing the same part in the eagerly anticipated No Entry Mein Entry.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, a source revealed that Salman’s decision to step away is linked to both professional as well as personal reasons. The insider shared, “The truth is simple: Salman’s problem lies with Boney Kapoor (producer) and Arjun Kapoor. That’s why Boney had no option but to re-cast No Entry Mein Entry instead of bringing back the original cast.”
For those who don't know, there have been rumours of conflict between Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor since Arjun started seeing Malaika Arora following her split from Salman's brother, Arbaaz Khan. Salman expressed interest in appearing in the sequel, but it appears that this tense situation prevented him from returning.
According to recent reports, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor will play the main roles in No Entry Mein Entry. Further generating interest in the movie is the rumoured addition of Tamannaah Bhatia to the cast.
Boney Kapoor and Surinder Kapoor produced the first No Entry, which was directed by Anees Bazmee and released in theatres in 2005. The main character of the movie was Kishan (Anil Kapoor), a devoted husband who is frequently accused of adultery by his suspicious wife Kaajal (Lara Dutta). Kishan and their mutual friend Sunny (Fardeen Khan) are irritated by his friend Prem (Salman Khan), who consistently cheats on his devoted wife Pooja (Esha Deol) without ever being caught. Prem starts a hilarious and chaotic chain of events by introducing Kishan to Bobby (Bipasha Basu), a glamorous prostitute, in an attempt to get things going.
