Once again, Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan has blown up the box office. Since its September 25 release, his most recent action drama, They Call Him OG, has made close to Rs 300 crore worldwide, making it one of the biggest success stories of 2025.

The film has received accolades for its gripping action, poignant core, and outstanding performance by Pawan Kalyan, all of which have captivated viewers.

They Call Him OG, which was directed by Sujeeth, has all the elements that Telugu moviegoers adore: stunning visuals, epic narratives, and a strong emotional core.

Both critics and viewers have praised Kalyan's performance as one of his best, and the ensemble cast gives the movie depth and vitality.

For fans eager to revisit the cinematic spectacle from the comfort of home, there’s good news. They Call Him OG is making its way to Netflix, with streaming beginning on Thursday, 23 October — exactly four weeks after its theatrical release.

According to reports from Glute, Netflix had acquired the film’s digital rights for a hefty amount well before it hit theatres. The shorter theatrical-to-digital gap has divided audiences: while many are excited to rewatch it sooner, others feel the quick transition slightly reduces the grandeur of the big-screen experience.

On the other hand, recent Telugu blockbusters like Devara Part 1 and Pushpa 2: The Rule had longer theatrical runs prior to their streaming debuts.

Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Neha Shetty, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj are among the film's formidable cast.

The film, which was produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the DVV Entertainments banner, is notable for its polished production, compelling screenplay, and a throbbing soundtrack by Thaman S that has become a hit on its own.

Pawan Kalyan has teased fans with rumours of a sequel or prequel that digs deeper into the story's mythology in an attempt to expand the original universe after the film's enormous success.
