Shehnaaz Gill starrer Punjabi film Ikk Kudi recently hit the theatres and received positive reviews from the audience. However, the actress has recently visited a packed theatre to surprise the audience watching her film.
Shehnaaz took to her Instagram and shared a video of herself giving a surprise visit to the Cineplex Cinemas Strawberry Hill, Canada. Alongside the video, she penned in the caption, “I already told you I can visit the theatres anytime to surprise you all. And today… I’m here to surprise everyone watching my film!”
She concluded her caption by teasing, “see u tomorrow again #shehnaazgill #ikkkudi.”
In the video, Shehnaaz revealed that her show is housefull. She entered the theatre while covering her face with a cap and unveiled her identity after entering the cinema hall. She asked the audience if they liked the film and were enjoying watching it.
The viewers were left stunned by the surprise. The video later shows Shehnaaz taking pictures with her fans outside the theatre.
The film recently received praise from Bharti Singh and Kapil Sharma.
Ikk Kudi notably marks Shehnaaz Gill’s comeback to the big screen after two year hiatus. The film also marks her debut as a producer.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast alongside Shehnaaz, featuring Gurjazz, Udaybir Sandhu, Nirmal Rishi, and Harby Sangha.
Ikk Kudi, which is directed by Amarjeet Saron, is about a regular girl whose parents want her to marry. She chooses to test her potential husband after a match is finalised, which sets off a hilarious and endearing chain of events for her and her family. The film, which combines comedy, romance, and drama, opened in theatres on October 31 and has been overwhelmingly well-received by viewers.
