Actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna recently made headlines after a video of him visiting Visakhapatnam went viral on social media. He is currently promoting his new movie, Akhanda 2. The actor, director Boyapati Srinu, and co-star Samyuktha were all in the city. When they arrived at the airport, a lot of people were there to greet them.

At first, Balakrishna was happy to meet fans, smile, and accept flowers. But things quickly got serious when one fan allegedly got too close. In the video that is going around on social media, Balakrishna suddenly raises his voice and tells the fan to "move aside" while pointing to security guards and asking why he was there.

He quickly calmed down and went back to greeting people, but later that night, he told his security team to keep that same person away from the promotions as well. The order, which was caught on camera, added to the already heated online discussions about the event.
The clip quickly spread to sites like X and Instagram, where it got a lot of different reactions. Some people said the actor's harsh tone was bad, but others defended him, saying he might have been reacting to someone making the women around him uncomfortable. The video only shows parts of the conversation, so it's not clear what caused the fight.

Balakrishna's strict crowd-control instincts have come out before. He was seen raising his voice to calm a rowdy crowd at earlier public events, including one in Hyderabad, before agreeing to have his picture taken. People who like him often say that these kinds of reactions are just ways to keep things under control during public appearances that are out of control.
