R Madhavan praises Priyanka Chopra’s global rise after watching Heads of State, says 'your victory feels personal'

R Madhavan praised Priyanka Chopra Jonas for her performance in Heads of State, calling her success deeply inspiring. Sharing on Instagram, he wrote, “Your victory feels personal… doing all that we dream of.”

After seeing Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the recently released action-comedy Heads of State, actor R Madhavan recently took to Instagram to show his appreciation for her.

Fans responded favourably to Madhavan's note, which expressed his sincere admiration for his long-time friend and international celebrity, describing her success as an inspiration to many.

Sharing his thoughts via Instagram Stories, the 3 Idiots actor wrote, “So proud of you for breaking new grounds and doing all that we dream of. What a wonderful job in the film and you held your own so well..your victory feels personal @priyankachopra.”

Priyanka responded to his warm gesture by reposting the story and replying, “Thank you my friend. Really appreciate your words of encouragement,” adding folded hands and red heart emojis to her message.

Priyanka portrays the tough and competent MI6 agent Noel Bisset in Heads of State. Idris Elba plays British Prime Minister Sam Clark in the movie, and John Cena plays American President Will Derringer. The stage is set for a high-stakes mission full of humour and explosive action as the two must set aside their long-standing rivalry and work together to stop a global threat.

Heads of State, which was directed by Ilya Naishuller, also stars Carla Gugino, Sarah Niles, and Jack Quaid. Produced by John Rickard and Peter Safran, it is now available for streaming on Prime Video. Elba and Cena both work on the project as executive producers.

John Cena recently shared his thoughts on working alongside Priyanka, saying in an interview with PTI, “That’s what’s brilliant about being in the creative business... you never know who you’re going to meet… We certainly did that in this movie. And for that, I’m grateful.”

Meanwhile, R Madhavan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming romantic-comedy Aap Jaisa Koi, co-starring Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film, directed by Vivek Soni, follows the story of Shrirenu, a reserved Sanskrit teacher, and Madhu, a lively French tutor. It is set to premiere on Netflix on 11 July.
