His first big milestone came with the Rs 50 lakh question, which asked: “On which planet of the solar system is a crater named after the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich, father-in-law of Devika Rani?” Without using a lifeline, Aditya selected Mercury as the answer, which turned out to be correct. This bold move cemented his place as a strong contender.

The defining moment of his game, however, was the Rs 1 crore question: “Which of these elements is named after the scientist who separated the plutonium element used in the first atomic bomb?” The options were Seaborgium, Mendelevium, Rutherfordium, and Bohrium. Aditya smartly deployed the 50-50 lifeline, narrowing the choices to Seaborgium and Bohrium. After a moment of deliberation, he chose Seaborgium—a decision that turned him into the season’s first crorepati. Along with the cash prize, Aditya also drove home a brand-new Maruti Suzuki Brezza, adding to his celebrations.
