Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey starrer Jurassic World: Rebirth debuted in the theatres with positive reviews and a strong opening box office collection. The film later registered a steady performance and has recently surpassed a remarkable milestone.
According to trade website Sacknilk, Jurassic World: Rebirth earned Rs 3.25 crore net in India on its sixth day for all languages. The box office collection has now officially surpassed the Rs 50 crore mark and earned Rs 50.95 crore net in India.
However, the film registered a slight dip in the collection as it earned Rs 4.5 crore net in India on its fifth day, taking the total to Rs 47.70 Crore in India.
The film also enjoyed a decent run on its first Monday and earned an estimated Rs 43.1 crore net in India.
However, the film is enjoying a great run at the worldwide box office. The latest addition in the Jurassic World franchise has collected a staggering $318 million worldwide since Wednesday, including $147 million at the domestic box office.
The latest addition to the Jurassic World franchise is directed by Gareth Edwards and revolves around a covert operation led by Zora Bennett, tasked with retrieving DNA samples from three colossal dinosaurs (land, sea, and air) to develop a life-saving drug.
The recently released film is set five years after Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), where most dinosaurs have perished due to the changing climate. The film also stars Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, and Ed Skrein in the key roles.
