Fast and Furious star Paul Walker's daughter remembers dad on his 12th death anniversary: "12 years without you..."

Fast and Furious star Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, honoured her late father on Sunday, marking 12 years since the tragic car accident that claimed his life.

Meadow shared a series of photos on Instagram along with a heartfelt caption dedicated to her dad. She wrote, “12 years without you… I love you forever.” One of the images shows Paul kneeling in front of a toddler-aged Meadow, who sits on a counter smiling warmly at him.

Another picture captures Paul holding a plate with a dessert decorated with candles, presenting it to his little girl. Meadow looks at it with curiosity before leaning in to give her dad a sweet peck on the lips — a moment now frozen in time and cherished deeply by her.

Walker’s sudden passing in 2013 sent shockwaves through Hollywood. The actor had been riding in the passenger seat of his Porsche Carrera GT when the driver, racing professional Roger Rodas, lost control and crashed into a concrete lamp post in Santa Clarita, California. The vehicle burst into flames upon impact, and both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Paul welcomed his daughter, Meadow Rain Walker, with childhood sweetheart Rebecca Soteros. Although the two never married, they lovingly co-parented their daughter until Paul’s untimely death.

In a 2006 interview with PEOPLE, Paul spoke fondly about their bond, saying, “Every day I pick her up from school, and we go out on a longboard. She’s the best partner I’ve ever had.”

Earlier this year, in September, Meadow also marked what would have been Paul’s 52nd birthday. Sharing a black-and-white photo of herself sitting on his lap, she wrote on Sept. 12, “Happy birthday daddy. I love you endlessly and miss you every day.”
