Hailey Bieber has shared new details about her evolving journey through motherhood and how her perspective has changed since welcoming her first child with husband Justin Bieber. In a recent interview with GQ, the model revealed that she now feels “much more prepared” to expand her family after the birth of her son, Jack Blues, in August 2024.

Hailey admitted that motherhood was not something she always envisioned for herself. “I don’t think I envisioned myself having kids,” she confessed. “The older I’ve gotten and now that I have a kid, I think any decision anyone makes about having them or not having them is totally amazing.”

Becoming a mom at 27 was both beautiful and challenging. She described her first experience as “daunting,” recalling the fears and uncertainties that came with it. “I didn’t know what to expect. Once they’re here, you just figure it out day by day. Every single day I’m learning how to be a mom and what’s best for my son — and for me as a mom.”

Looking ahead, Hailey feels more confident about the idea of a second child. “I don’t think there’s anything someone can tell you about it that will ever prepare you until you do it yourself,” she said. “But I feel much more prepared to do it again, as opposed to how not prepared I felt doing it for the first time.”

She added that motherhood constantly reshapes her in unexpected ways. “There’s so much unknown to it, but you evolve in a totally different way that you would never be able to prepare for until you do it.”

Hailey also spoke openly about her support system. “I do have help. I have full-time help and I’m not ashamed to say that,” she said. “I wouldn’t be able to have my career and do the things I do without it, and I’m really grateful for that.”

Speaking about her husband, she said their parenting is hands-on and family-centered. “If he’s not with me, he’s with his dad. He’s always with family or with his godparents.”

Hailey’s vision for the future is clear: “I know I want more than one,” she said. “Since I was a little kid, I always envisioned myself having kids.”
