Famous YouTuber Flying Beast, also known as Gaurav Taneja, earlier criticised Ranveer Allahbadia for his controversial remarks on Samay Raina's show India's Got Latent, has now shared his views on the ongoing controversy.

This time, Gaurav expressed his belief that Ranveer is being unjustly singled out and targeted for criticism.

Gaurav took to his Instagram and posted a video where he conveyed his thoughts, offering a different perspective on the situation.

Gaurav acknowledged the collective response from the public, expressing his satisfaction with how people have come together to raise their voices against Ranveer's remarks. Nevertheless, he feels that Ranveer is now bearing the brunt of an unfair attack.

"When this BeerBiceps controversy first started, I thought the youth of this country is still sensible, all of them are not stupid. I believed that when it comes to their tradition and culture, they will fight, which is absolutely right. A lot of wrong things were said on that show, and this shouldn’t have happened. But what is happening now?" Gaurav questioned.

He further added that while the public rightly condemned the offensive comments, it seemed as if the situation had taken an unjust turn, with Ranveer being treated disproportionately. Gaurav also pointed out the broader implications of such controversies, pondering why only those who are more vulnerable get targeted.

He remarked, “I am saying that go and find Sundar Pichai now. When you put up videos on YouTube with filthy language, doesn’t the algorithm get to know? Why aren’t you getting Sundar Pichai? Because you can’t. They can only get the guy who is weak. They can harass him. Insane!”

Gaurav expressed his frustration over what he perceived as a selective approach to accountability, where powerful figures seemed to evade scrutiny while others were harassed.

Moreover, Gaurav emphasised the importance of proportional punishment, stressing that any punishment should be aligned with the severity of the crime.

“This is not the democracy we voted for,” he said, implying that the current situation feels far from the principles of fairness and justice.

The controversy erupted after Ranveer made an inappropriate remark during a recent episode of India's Got Latent. He posed an offensive question to a contestant, asking, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join them to finish it once and for all?”

The internet quickly condemned the remark, leading Samay Raina, who was also on the panel, to delete related videos.

In response to the backlash, Ranveer claimed that he and his family had received death threats. The Maharashtra Cyber has now summoned him to appear on February 24 to address the matter further.
