Hollywood star Brad Pitt experienced a health scare on the set of his upcoming Formula 1 film, fainting during the filming of an intense car crash scene.
While shooting at the Las Vegas Grand Prix for his upcoming Formula 1 film, Brad Pitt, portraying a fictional racing driver, faced a dramatic moment on set. During the filming of a car crash scene, the 59-year-old actor, dressed in full racing gear, was seen stumbling away from the crash site before collapsing onto a padded mat held by the crew.
A video shared on X captured Brad Pitt exiting his car and visibly struggling to walk during the filming of his upcoming F1 movie. As he moved away from the damaged vehicle, he collapsed, landing on a safety cushion provided by the crew. The scene was confirmed to be part of the movie's production, with the team continuing to film the dramatic moment.
Following the viral footage, Brad Pitt’s team promptly released a statement addressing his health, referring to him by his character’s name, Hayes. "During qualifying, Sonny sustained a significant impact requiring immediate medical evaluation. Incidents of this magnitude are always taken seriously, and Sonny's health remains our top priority," the statement read.
Filming for the F1 movie took place on weekends at iconic tracks such as Silverstone, Hungary, Spa, Monza, Zandvoort, Japan, Las Vegas, Abu Dhabi, and Mexico City. To authentically integrate the fictional team APXGP into the real-world racing scene, the production team was granted access to an empty garage at each location.
Slated for a June 2025 release, the high-octane F1 film is poised to be a summer blockbuster. Featuring Brad Pitt behind the wheel of a specially modified F2 car, the movie will also include appearances by real-life F1 drivers. The star-studded cast boasts names like Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Kerry Condon, Sarah Niles, and Idris Elba.
