After lifting the IPL 2025 trophy for RCB, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were recently spotted at Mumbai airport, radiating casual chic in coordinating black and white outfits.
The couple, looking effortlessly stylish, quickly got into their Range Rover and drove off.
For their airport appearance, Virat opted for a crisp shirt paired with denim and his trademark cap, while Anushka kept it simple in a black T-shirt and denim jeans.
Virat has been openly praising Anushka for her unwavering support throughout his IPL journey. In a heartfelt note following RCB’s victory, he described the win as especially meaningful for both him and his “Bangalore Girl,” Anushka.
The triumph ended RCB’s long-standing 18-year quest for the coveted IPL trophy, and Virat took a moment during the post-match interaction to pay tribute to his wife for her emotional and personal support.
“She’s been coming here and supporting RCB since 2014, so it’s been 11 years for her as well,” he shared, his voice thick with emotion. “She’s been there relentlessly — coming to the games, watching the tough ones, watching us just miss out. What your life partner does for you to be able to play, the sacrifices, the commitment, and just backing you through thick and thin — it’s something you can’t really explain in words.”
Kohli, who has been the face of RCB since the IPL’s inception, also spoke candidly about the quiet battles Anushka endured behind the scenes. “Only when you play professionally do you understand the amount of things that go on behind the scenes and what they go through as well. Anushka has gone through it all emotionally — watching me be down and out. Her coming to games… she’s a Bengaluru girl too, and she’s so, so proud,” he added.
