Budgam Election Result: Omar Abdullah wins, defeats PDP's Mehdi by over 18,359 votes

Omar Abdullah has been declared as the winner from the Budgam constituency after the conclusion of 13 rounds of counting. Abdullah defeated his nearest rival by a margin of 18,485 votes.

As per the trends available, Omar Abdullah has extended the lead against his nearest rival of the PDP by over 6,000 votes after five rounds of counting.

Omar Abdullah maintains the lead against key PDP rival Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi by over 3,500 votes, trends available with the Election Commission of India showed. The seat is among the two constituencies that Abdullah is contesting in the Jammu and Kashmir elections.
