An unidentified man allegedly raped a 25-year-old woman after gaining access to her apartment in a posh society in Pune’s Kondhwa by posing as a courier delivery executive, police said on Thursday, News18 reported.
As per the report, the accused allegedly sprayed something on the woman’s face and raped her. According to the officials, the accused entered the society at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday as a courier delivery boy. Even as the woman said that there was no courier for her, he insisted, saying, “A signature is required".
When the woman opened the safety door, the man sprayed something on her face and allegedly raped her. As per the report, after the sexual assault, he took a selfie using the woman’s phone and left a chilling message on it that read, “I’ll be back".
The police have registered a case, and an investigation into the matter is underway, the report added.
