Sachin Bansal sells remaining 7.5% stake in Ather Energy

Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal has exited electric vehicle maker Ather Energy by selling his remaining 7.5 percent stake in the company, as per media reports.

Bansal had invested around Rs 400 crore over the years starting from 2014, according to an Economic Times report.

The report further stated that he sold 2.2 percent stake to Hero MotoCorp for Rs 124 crore and the rest to Zeordha cofounder Nikhil Kamath.

This news comes after Hero MotoCorp on June 6 said it will acquire an additional 2.2 percent stake in Ather Energy for Rs 124 crore.
