Hyundai Motor India will launch the second-generation Venue on November 4. The compact SUV is among Hyundai's most critical models, ranking second in sales after the Creta. Ahead of its market debut, the new Venue has been spotted without camouflage, revealing its complete exterior design.
New Hyundai Venue 2025 Exterior
The upcoming Venue adopts Hyundai's latest SUV design language, similar to the Creta and the Alcazar, as can be seen in spy images shared by Korean Car Blog. It features a large rectangular grille with horizontal slats and vertically stacked LED headlamps integrated with DRLs. The headlight cluster is housed within the bumper, which also carries a revised skid plate. Flared wheel arches with cladding and newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels give the SUV a stronger stance.
The rear has been comprehensively redesigned with a new tailgate, bumper, and connected LED taillight setup. While the Venue retains its upright and compact proportions, the refreshed styling lends a more upmarket appearance.
New Hyundai Venue 2025 Interior
Hyundai is expected to overhaul the cabin layout of the Venue 2025. The new model is likely to feature a dual-screen setup combining a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, similar to the arrangement seen in the Creta and the Alcazar.
The dashboard is expected to be redesigned with new HVAC controls. The cabin will likely feature upgraded materials and new comfort and convenience features such as ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone connectivity, front parking sensors, and rain-sensing wipers.
The top-end trims are also expected to offer Level-2 ADAS capability, an upgrade from the outgoing model's Level-1 suite.
New Hyundai Venue 2025 Powertrains
The engine lineup is expected to remain unchanged. Hyundai will likely continue offering the 1.2-litre petrol (83PS/113.8Nm), 1.0-litre turbo petrol (120PS/172Nm), and 1.5-litre diesel (116PS/250Nm) engines. Transmission choices should include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and 7-speed DCT. However, minor tuning updates are expected for better refinement and fuel economy.
Price and Rivals
The outgoing Venue is priced between Rs 7.26 lakh and Rs 12.18 lakh (ex-showroom) after GST rate revisions. Given the expected addition of new technology and features, prices for the new-generation model are likely to rise.
The Venue remains a core product in Hyundai's lineup and plays a significant role in its overall sales. With the new model, Hyundai aims to strengthen its position in the compact SUV segment, where it will continue to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Skoda Kylaq.
