MG Windsor EV achieves record July sales, ahead of all Tata, Mahindra models

The Windsor has retained its position as India's top-selling electric car for 10 consecutive months, JSW MG claimed, with July 2025 marking its highest monthly sales at 4,308 units since launch.

JSW MG Motor India today announced that the MG Windsor EV emerged as the country's highest-selling electric car for the 10th consecutive month with record wholesales of 4,308 units in July 2025. This was also the vehicle's highest monthly sales since its launch.

Cumulative sales of the Windsor have reached nearly 36,000 units. The sustained demand has contributed to an increase in the company's market share in the passenger EV segment, which rose from 28% in the first quarter of 2025 to 32% in the second quarter. During the same period, the average monthly sales of the Windsor grew by 17%, while overall EV wholesales from JSW MG rose by 28%.

The MG Windsor is available in five variants – Excite (38kWh), Exclusive (38kWh), Essence (38kWh), Exclusive Pro (52.9kWh) and Essence Pro (52.9kWh). Customers can choose between a fixed battery option and a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) subscription.
