Maruti Suzuki India today announced the inauguration of its 5,500th service touchpoint in India. While the milestone unit has come up in Udaipur, the company is planning to set up around 500 new service touchpoints in FY26.
The country's largest carmaker now has service touchpoints across 2,764 cities. It added 460 new service touchpoints in FY25.
With the new workshop in Udaipur, Maruti's service network comprises around 40,000 service bays. The extensive network can service 30 million vehicles in a year, according to the carmaker.
Maruti serviced over 27 million vehicles in FY25, its highest ever during a fiscal.
"One of the key factors most customers consider when purchasing a new car is the availability of a proximate and convenient service workshop, one that offers genuine and reliable service at a reasonable price, giving them total peace of mind. To meet this need, we have been able to establish 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities, with the help of our dealer partners," said Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India.
"In FY25, we added 460 new service touchpoints, which is more than one every single day. We plan to continue these efforts and aim to add around 500 new service touchpoints during this financial year, of which we have already set up 91 touchpoints," he said.
Maruti sells new cars via Arena and Nexa outlets. The Arena portfolio includes the Alto K10, WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Brezza and Ertiga. Among the Nexa models are the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, and Invicto.
However, there is no such bifurcation so far as servicing is concerned. The Nexa and Arena models can be serviced at the same service touchpoint.
