The Indian Under 17 football team managed to stay locked on to a 0-0 score line against Colombia at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi on Monday.
India failed to score in spite of creating goal scoring chances on at least two occasions including one in the 45th minute when the ball hit the cross bar.
At half time, Colombia had 68 percent possession of the ball. Colombia had made seven attempts as compared to India's three. India had taken one shot off-target while Colombia took five.
Both sides had two shots on target each.
India lined up a 4-4-1-1 formation. Rahul Kannoly, who started as the a right back in the first match, started as a left midfielder on Monday.
Coach Matos went for greater presence in the centre by adding Jeakson Thounaojam.
India had lost 3-0 to the United States under 17 team on Friday, in the opening day fixture. On Friday too, India had failed to score after the ball hit the woodwork. The hosts will play Ghana on October 12.
