VLC 2.0 RC build available for download, iOS version returns

There have been several media players for the desktop and each one has a big fan following. VideoLAN Player or VLC, as it is more popularly known as, has reached the next major milestone. The last stable version of the player available on their site is still 1.1.11, but the first release candidate build - 2.0 is now available on their site. To download the build for your operating system, head over to their download page for development builds. VLC 2.0 is now available for Mac OS X, Linux and the Windows operating system.
