Firstsource Solutions Q2 net profit up 24% to Rs 36 cr

Firstsource Solutions' consolidated net profit jumped 24 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 36 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2012-13.

Firstsource Solutions ' consolidated net profit jumped 24 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 36 crore in the second quarter of financial year 2012-13.


Consolidated revenues increased 6 percent to Rs 725.5 crore from Rs 685.2 crore during the same period.


CESC Promoter Sanjiv Goenka said would acquire 49.5% equity in Firstsource for Rs 280 crore.


"Firstsource would use Rs 280 crore for repayment of outstanding FCCBs (USD 275 million outstanding due in December 2012)," he said. 


The share tanked 13.34 percent to close at Rs 12.34 on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
