DB Corp (DBCL), India's largest print media company which publishes Dainik Bhaskar, reported consolidated profit-after tax (PAT) at Rs 45.5 crore versus Rs 45 crore in the fourth quarter in fiscal 2012. During the same period, it reported a 14% revenue growth to Rs 360 crore versus Rs 317.4 crore earlier.
The company's EBIDTA margin stood at 21% (down to Rs 75 crore from Rs 79.6 crore in Q4FY11) on account of one-time preoperative expenses of Rs 1.25 crore, launch in Maharashtra and impact of operating losses of five editions in Maharashtra and three editions of Jharkhand.
For the full year, DB Corp witnessed a 16% rise in its total revenues to Rs 1463.8 crore from Rs 1265.2 crore in the previous year.
Advertising revenues increased by 12.4% YOY to Rs 1128.1 crore from Rs 1003.4 crore. The company announced that it will pay a dividend of Rs 1.75 per share interim dividend.
