Suven Life up 5% on three product patents

Suven Life Sciences rallied as much as 4.6 percent intraday amid heavy volumes on Monday as the company has secured three product patents (two from Eurasia and one from Canada) corresponding to the new chemical entities for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurodegenerative diseases.

    Suven Life Sciences rallied as much as 4.6 percent intraday amid heavy volumes on Monday as the company has secured three product patents (two from Eurasia and one from Canada) corresponding to the new chemical entities for the treatment of disorders associated with Neurodegenerative diseases.


    These patents are valid through 2027, says the company in a release. With these new patents, Suven has a total of 10 granted product patents from Canada and 12 from Eurasia.

    At 14:38 hours IST, the stock rose 2.8 percent to Rs 31.25 on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Trading volumes increased 263 percent to 3,75,512 equity shares as compared to its five day average of 103,330 shares.
