Move over warships, make way for aircrafts: Pipavav

CNBC-TV18 reports that while the company is confident that the deal will be cleared, Pipavav is already getting into yet another deal. The shipyard has signed a pact with SKIL Infra and Airbus to facilitate aircraft repair operations.

Pipavav Shipyard is in no way crying over spilt milk. It has not been long since the government put on hold its joint venture with the company to produce warships. CNBC-TV18 has now learnt that while the company is confident that the deal will be cleared, Pipavav is already getting into yet another deal. The shipyard has signed a pact with SKIL Infra and Airbus to facilitate aircraft repair operations.

Speaking to the channel, the company says that it will invest up to USD 100 million for phase-I of the aircraft repair unit.
