NTPC's Unit III of 500 MW of Vallur Thermal Power Project commissioned

NTPC has informed that the Unit III of 500 MW of Vallur Thermal Power Project of NTPC Tamil Nadu Energy, a JV of NTPC and TANGEDCO has been commissioned on February 28, 2014. With this, the total installed capacity of Vallur Thermal Power Project has become 1500 MW and the total installed capacity of NTPC group has become 42964 MW.
