Hi Botc, if you see most of these orders won by competition or given out are generally of very long duration. 3 to 5 years out. There will be limited impact on earnings for such orders. And Govt being the customer it is unlikely they will dish out advances once an order is won. Another way of looking at it is BEL may be the biggest winner in most of defense electronics but they still will need some critical sub components from DP and others to get their entire System delivered. News today, India Russia to CoDevelop brahmos2 Hypersonic Missile The Brahmos 1 in production and range enhanced upgrades is a supersonic cruise missile. Defence as a sector is playing in a very narrow band. The returns of late are ordinary, earnings still holds the key. Many institutions are going Large cap NBFC heavy by selling on Defense and Rail. We are waiting the completed Q2 results and the current earnings is working in progress of Q3, by Dec there will be hyper activity, most institutions will come back as Q4 is the defense best quarter, and the Budget quarter.
