The Indian Embassy in Iran has issued emergency contact numbers and urged Indian nationals to remain alert in the wake of Israeli airstrikes on Iran.
"The emergency contact details of the Embassy: +98 9128109115; +98 9128109109," the Indian Embassy in Iran on Friday posted on X.
The Indian embassy also advised Indian nationals to avoid unnecessary movements and observe safety protocols following the launch of Israel's strikes on the country.
It another post, the embassy also advised Indians and persons of Indian origin in Iran to stay vigilant, limit non-essential movement, follow safety guidelines issued by local authorities, and monitor the embassy’s social media channels for updates.
The advisory comes after Israel launched airstrikes on Iran’s capital early Friday, reportedly targeting the country’s nuclear infrastructure.
In response, Iran carried out retaliatory attacks on Israeli targets, including military and missile facilities.
