Digital transformation firm UST has acquired supply-chain management and product- commercialisation firm Endeavor Consulting Group for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition will help UST enhance its presence in several key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biopharma and medical technology device customers, the company said in a release on June 3.
“With improved ERP systems, quality management, supply chain, and digital transformation capabilities, UST is set to further expedite product launches and commercialisation, utilising Industry 4.0 technologies,” the company said.
The US-based Endeavor was founded in 2006 and serves clients in North America and Europe.
Combining Endeavor's technical expertise with UST's accelerators and software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, UST will be able to significantly enhance client operational efficiency, the company said. It will increase UST’s returns on technology investments as well as capacity for innovation.
UST chief solutions officer Kailash Attal said integrating Endeavor’s portfolio with UST’s SAP services and business solutions would improve its positioning in the life sciences sector.
“Uniting the experience and resources of our two companies opens exciting new possibilities to drive meaningful innovation,” the statement quoted Attal as saying.
