Tata announced the all-new Sierra last month and has already started accepting pre-bookings with a Rs 21000 token amount for the car. The new Sierra comes with a new striking design while keeping the familiar bits from the original Sierra, and its price starts at Rs 11,49 (introductory) ex-showroom. We are not here to talk about what the car offers in terms of engine or the ride quality of the car. What’s in focus for this article is the segment’s first triple-screen setup, especially the third screen that’s designed for passengers.

Triple screen setup: What is it
According to the company, the Sierra’s interior has been built around the idea of blending familiar home experiences with daily travel. At the centre of this approach is the first-in-segment triple screen configuration that includes the infotainment display for the driver, a fully digital instrument cluster, and an optional passenger-side screen. Together, these create a theatre-like presentation inside the cabin.
Talking about the passenger display, it is designed to work as a personal entertainment hub. Passengers can stream content, access apps, browse information, or play games without interrupting what the driver sees on the main screen. The company says the layout reflects how users interact with screens at home—individually but within a shared space.
Features available on the passenger screen
As per the official website, the passenger display is powered by Tata Motors’ in-house Arcade app suite, which includes access to more than 28 applications. Entertainment options range from OTT platforms and music streaming services to lightweight games.
Apps currently available include Spotify, JioSaavn, Gaana, Amazon Prime Video and others for uninterrupted content playback.
Moreover, passengers can listen through wireless headphones, ensuring that personal content does not interfere with the rest of the cabin via the separate Bluetooth conntetivity option.
Meanwhile, the driver’s infotainment system continues to operate independently with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Game controller support and wireless connectivity
One of the standout features is support for wireless gaming controllers. Tata Motors says passengers will be able to pair a controller to the screen and play compatible Arcade titles—including options like Beach Buggy Racing—without disturbing the driver. While the list of controllers isn’t available, both Xbox and PS controllers should work with the car. Bluetooth connectivity also enables private audio streaming during gameplay or OTT viewing.
Overall, the third display aims to bring a separate space for passengers where they can continue to do their own thing without disturbing others – especially the driver – in the cabin.
