Most issues were linked to the mobile app, while others cited problems with audio streaming and website access. The disruption affected Spotify users globally, causing widespread inconvenience across platforms.

Company response
In an official update, Spotify stated: “We are aware of the outage and working to resolve it as soon as possible.” The company reassured users that the issue had been addressed and that most services were functioning normally.

Responding to user concerns circulating online, Spotify also clarified: “The reports of this being a security hack are false.” The company did not specify the technical cause of the disruption but denied any data breach or malicious activity.
