Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 7 update to the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 in India. The update brings several new features and important changes to the foldable smartphones, including new AI features, updated user interface, etc.

New features in One UI 7
Samsung’s One UI 7 update brings several AI-powered features and interface upgrades aimed at enhancing personalisation, multitasking, and overall usability on Galaxy devices.
Among the key features is AI Select, which allows users to turn video clips into GIFs directly from the Edge Panel with a simple swipe. Writing Assist helps format and summarise text in apps and messages, while Drawing Assist provides AI-generated suggestions to refine sketches. Audio Eraser can remove background noise from videos for cleaner sound.
The update also introduces the Now Bar, a new lock screen element that shows real-time updates such as music playback and fitness activity. Additionally, Google Gemini integration enables users to interact with their device using natural language voice commands to search, launch apps, or perform actions.
Other improvements include enhanced settings search and more functional lock screen widgets, all designed to deliver a smoother and more personalised experience.
Apart from this, Samsung has also updated the dock on Galaxy Z Fold6 with rounded corners and new swipe gesture that brings up the bottom dock on top when swiped up from the bottom of the screen.
