Roblox down gobally: Outage hits thousands of players with error code 9007 and login issues

Roblox, the online gaming platform, experienced a major service disruption late on December 18. The outage affected users attempting to log in, join games, or maintain stable connections during active sessions. Reports from multiple outage-tracking platforms indicated that the disruption was not limited to a single region and impacted users across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Players reported repeated error messages, with error code 9007 appearing frequently. The issue prevented access to games and servers, effectively locking many users out of the platform for several hours.

Key problems faced by users
According to data shared by Downdetector, user complaints rose sharply during the outage window. The reports highlighted three primary issues. Website-related problems accounted for 54 percent of complaints, indicating that many users were unable to load Roblox services at all. Server connection errors made up 33 percent of the reports, affecting players trying to join or stay connected to games. Gameplay-related issues accounted for the remaining 13 percent, with users reporting mid-game disconnections and session failures.

Social media platforms also saw a surge in posts from affected players. Several users warned others not to join games during the outage due to the risk of data or progress loss in ongoing experiences.
