Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has officially introduced the Poco C85 smartphone globally in select markets. It is currently listed on the company's website in the Philippines, and the device is powered by a MediaTek Helio SoC. Much like its predecessor, the Poco C85 supports only 4G connectivity for now, with a 5G variant expected to arrive soon. This new entry-level smartphone is aimed at young users who want an affordable device with great performance.

The Poco C85 has a starting price of $109 (around Rs 9,500) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is also an 8GB + 256GB variant that costs $129 (around Rs 11,400), which is available as part of an early bird price. It is sold in Purple, Black, and Green colour shades.

The Poco C85 sports a 6.9-inch Dot Drop display with HD+ resolution, up to 120Hz variable refresh rate, and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports DC dimming with 660 nits of typical brightness and up to 810 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chip, with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a MicroSD card slot.
For optics, the Poco C85 features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera with 1080p (Full HD) video recording capabilities. It packs a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support via a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options on the device include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, GPS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It weighs 205 g.
