Nintendo has officially unveiled the Switch 2, set to launch on June 5, 2025. Alongside the console, a lineup of exclusive games is arriving, with major titles like Mario Kart World, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Switch 2 Edition, and Deltarune (Chapters 1–4).
Beyond launch day, several high-profile games are scheduled for later in 2025, including Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, a new Donkey Kong game, and the long-awaited Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Nintendo also confirmed that the Switch 2 will support backward compatibility, meaning many original Switch games will be playable on the new console, with some receiving performance and graphical upgrades.
