MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor with on-device generative AI capabilities unveiled: All the details

MediaTek has announced the new Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The new flagship Dimensity 9300+ processor is specially made for accelerating on-device generative AI processing at higher clock speeds. It is a successor to MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and supports the LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) and NeuroPilot LORA Fusion 2.0, which help bring AI features in images, text and more.

MediaTek Dimensity 9300+: Key Details

The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ is an octa-core chipset with four Arm Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, three Arm Cortex-X4 cores with clock speed up to 2.85GHz, and one Cortex-X4 core with a maximum clock speed of 3.4GHz. It supports up to LPDDR5T RAM with UFS 4.0 storage support.

In terms of GPU, it has the Arm Immortalis-G720 GPU, which comes with a second-generation hardware raytracing engine. MediaTek claims this new GPU will offer a fast raytracing experience at 60 FPS. Moreover, this GPU also supports MediaTek Adaptive Gaming Technology.
