Ever Googled yourself and found personal information you wish wasn’t there? You’re not alone — and now, Google is making it easier for you to take control.

The tech giant has rolled out a redesigned tool called Results about you, which is aimed at helping people protect their privacy online. This feature scans Google Search results for any personal information — like your phone number, home address, or email — and gives you the option to get it removed.

What’s cool is that you don’t have to keep checking manually. Once you sign up on the Results about you hub, Google will monitor search results for you and send alerts if it spots any of your personal details popping up. It’s a simple, proactive way to stay on top of your online presence without all the hassle.

The process of removing personal information has also been made smoother. When you see a search result you’re not comfortable with, just click on the three dots next to it. A menu will appear, showing you what kind of content can be taken down. If your result qualifies, you can now submit a removal request with just a few clicks.
