India’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high-severity advisory warning Apple users to immediately update their devices after multiple security vulnerabilities were found across Apple’s software ecosystem. The advisory applies to a wide range of Apple products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Vision Pro, and the Safari browser.

What CERT-In has warned about
According to the advisory (CIAD-2025-0054), several vulnerabilities have been identified in Apple operating systems that could be exploited by attackers.

These flaws may allow threat actors to execute arbitrary code, gain elevated privileges, bypass security restrictions, access sensitive user data, or even cause system crashes and denial-of-service conditions.

CERT-In has classified the issue as high severity, indicating a serious risk for both individual and organisational users who continue to use unpatched devices.
