Asus India has introduced new additions to its gaming laptop lineup with the launch of the TUF Gaming F16 and the updated ROG Strix G16 models. These laptops are powered by the newly announced Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. With Intel Core i7/i5 HX and AMD Ryzen 9 HX variants, the refreshed lineup aims to serve a diverse audience—from casual users and students to hardcore gamers and creators.

The new ROG Strix G16 (G615) features an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 GPU with 8GB VRAM, and a 16-inch 2.5K anti-glare display supporting 240Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. It has 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, a 90WHrs battery, and a 4-zone RGB keyboard.
The updated 2024 ROG Strix G16 (G614) is now equipped with the same Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU but is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor offering up to 16 TOPS of AI performance. It includes a 16-inch FHD+ display with 165Hz refresh rate, Copilot key integration, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD.
The TUF Gaming F16 targets aspiring gamers with Intel Core i5-13450HX CPU, Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU, a 16-inch FHD+ 165Hz display, and the same 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD combination. It also includes a 90WHrs battery and a Copilot-ready backlit keyboard.
