It seems like the long-running rumours of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag getting a remake could be true. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is considered by many to be one of the best titles the series has offered till now. Assassin’s Creed enthusiasts had hoped for an announcement regarding the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag during The Game Awards 2025 ceremony, but that didn’t happen.

Be that as it may, the absence of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake from The Game Awards has not dampened the spirits of those who look forward to it. Many hope that Ubisoft will not tamper with the combat system of the original and keep it as it is in the remake.
