Franke buys stake in Duravit

The Switzerland-based Franke Group has acquired 25 percent shares of Duravit AG, Germany. This participation lays the foundation for establishing a strategic partnership in the bathroom and kitchen area as both companies have complementary product portfolio. Franke and Duravit plan to mutually develop innovative product series for the bathroom and kitchen area under their respective brands. The previous minority shareholder of Duravit, Roca Corporacion Empresarial SA, has sold its stake on 31st December 2015, which was a prerequisite for the investment of Franke. www.duravit.com
