Google says employees flouting vaccination rules will eventually be fired

A memo circulated by Google’s leadership said employees had until Dec. 3 to declare their vaccination status and upload documentation showing proof, or to apply for a medical or religious exemption, according to the report.

Google had given its employees time till December 3rd to upload proof of vaccination or approval for medical or religious exemptions.

According to an internal memo that was leaked on to the web, Google is extending that deadline to January 13 but this time, it is willing to fire employees who do not get the shot.

The memo seen by CNBC (via The Verge), gives Google employees until January 13 to co-operate and get vaccinated. Failure to do so, would result in an immediate 30-day administrative leave.
