Saturday special trading session, is Nifty poised to make a new high? The special trading session is being held to evaluate the readiness of Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) in handling unforeseen events such as system outages affecting their operations. As per the schedule, the market will remain open for couple of hours for trading with 75-minute break in between. The session will be divided into two phases for the transition from the primary site to disaster recovery site. The first session will start at the regular time with eight minutes of pre-open session i.e. 9:00 to 9:08 am, followed by regular trading for 45 minutes between 9:15 am and 10:00 am.
